Formuladas por Gustav Robert Kirchhoff en 1845, mientras aún era estudiante, estas son la Ley de los nodos o ley de corrientes y la
Ley de las "mallas" o ley de tensiones.

1a. Ley de KirchhoffEn todo nodo, donde la densidad de la carga no varíe en un instante de tiempo, la suma de corrientes entrantes es igual a la suma de corrientes salientes.
Un enunciado alternativo es:En todo nodo la suma algebraica de corrientes que
entran debe ser 0.
