L’Association EUSKAQUITAINE se constitua officiellement l’an 2000, elle seconfigura comme une association appartenant à deux États, en ligne avec lesdirectrices sur la coopération transfrontalière de l’Union Européenne. Son cadreterritorial s’étend à la Communauté Autonome du Pays Basque et à la régionAquitaine, en comprenant un total de 12 ports de plaisance, 6 pour chaque région.

L’Association a été formée dans le but de promouvoir le Golfe de Gascognecomme destination nautique-turistique, grâce à l'assistance à des Salles nautiques,l'édition de brochures de promotion conjointes, etc. et elle permet d'aller commeseul interlocuteur aux salons et à d’autres places nécessaires pour cette promotion.
EUSKAQUITAINE compte, dès son début, sur l’appui décidé et le financementdes Gouvernements Basque et Aquitaine.
La Asociación EUSKAQUITAINE se constituyó oficialmente el año 2000,configurándose como asociación supraestatal, en línea con las directrices sobrecooperación transfronteriza de la Unión Europea, y cuyo ámbito territorial seextiende a la Comunidad Autónoma de Euskadi y a la región Aquitana, agrupandoun total de 12 puertos deportivos, 6 por cada región.

La Asociación se ha formado con el fin de promocionar el Golfo de Bizkaia comodestino náutico-turístico, mediante la asistencia a Salones náuticos, la ediciónde folletos de promoción conjuntos, etc. y permite acudir como un único interlocutora las ferias y demás lugares necesarios para esta promoción.
EUSKAQUITAINE cuenta, desde su inicio, con el apoyo decidido y la financiaciónde los Gobiernos Vasco y Aquitano.

EUSKAQUITAINE Association was officially founded in the year 2000. Thisassociation between two states follows the European Union guidelines oncooperation across frontiers. It acts in the Basque Autonomy and in the regionof Aquitaine, forming a group of 12 sports harbours, six from each region.

The main goal the association is to promote the Bay of Biscay as a nautical-touristdestination. In order to achieve it the association will attend nautical fairs, willpublish brochures, etc. Moreover, for the promotion all spots harbours will attendfairs and other places as an association.

Ce port de plaisance est le plus granddu Pays Basque. Protégé par la contre-digue de Algorta dans le havre du portde Bilbao, le port dispose d´une largesuperstructure et d´une riche offre deservices. Placé dans une des meilleureszones de l’embouchure de la rivièreNervión.
