CRISTALIZACIÓN:

Proceso que se emplea para separar un sólido de un líquido en una mezcla homogénea formada por un soluto disuelto en un disolven-te.

ADP ( fosfato amónico): El fosfato monoamónico o dihidrogeno fosfato de amonio (NH4H2PO4 ), también conocido por sus siglas ADP (del inglés Am-monium Dihydrogen Phosphate) es una sal que se utiliza como fer-tilizante en agricultura y jardinería. Este compuesto cristaliza en prismas tetragonales cuando desciende lentamente la temperatura en una solución sobresaturada y previamente calentada, dando lu-gar a cristales llamativos.

PROCEDIMIENTO: Colocamos en un vaso de precipitados o en un cristalizador la mez-cla de ADP (soluto) y agua (disolvente), y la calentamos hasta 80ºC, removiendo para su mejor disolución.

En recipientes aislados dejamos enfriar lentamente para obtener los primeros cristales.

Algunos de estos cristales los utilizamos como siembra para una segunda cristalización y ahora experimentamos para obtener cris-tales de diferentes colores.

CONCLUSIONS:

FIRST EXPERIENCE: tap water and non- strained dissolution. As a final result we obtained a non-transparent crystal with some impurities in its base and the tips were not bright. SECOND EXPERIENCE: tap water and strained dissolution. As a final result we obtained an amorphous crystallization with undefined crystals. THIRD EXPERIENCE: distilled water and non strained dissolution. As a final result we obtained bigger but non-transparent tips.

PRINCIPAL CRYSTALS:

RED: We added red food coloring after the water was hot enough. BLUE: During the heating of the water we added the blue food coloring. GREEN: (must be orange) an orange Chemical compound was added to the mixture of water and ADP but Turing crystallization the crystal became green instead of orange. We also read an article that explained the foil paper make easier crystallization, so we decided to use it in our crystals. We made the same process with paper balls in order to obtain some kind of trees by crystallizing the dissolution around this balls.
