POEMA DE LA

En el idioma español,

la Ñ es muy importante,

y en todo computador

debe ser una constante.

Sin la Ñ, no existiría el otoño

y las flores sin retoño han de

estar.

Sin la Ñ, qué sería de la caña,

el azúcar no podríamos

saborear

y la ensalada sin aliño no sería

igual.

Tan importante es la Ñ

que sin ella yo no sueño,

y aunque te parezca extraño,

varias veces al día me baño.

EL PEQUEÑO SIN LA Ñ ES UN GIGANTE

Sin Ñ yo no te riño,

y me sentiría muy triste,

sin decirte ¡que te extraño!

El idioma español sin la tal Ñ,

no tuviera su belleza singular,

no dejes sin la Ñ a tu teclado

porque te aseguro que la vas a extrañar.

Resultaría dañino

que nos faltara el empeño

y no existiera el cariño.

Bueno, bueno, basta de regaños.

porque ya me vino el sueño

J.K. ROWLING

J.K Rowling was born in July 31st, 1965 in ChepstowEngland. She was a famous person because she wrote Harry Potter book series. In 1990 her mother died which made her feel very sad. In 1991 she became an English teacher in Portugal. She married in October

1992 and then had 3 children.

Her first book Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone was published in 1997.

In July 2007 the final book of the Harry Potter series "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” was published.

The book was sold very fast.

Now she writes adult novels . She lives in Edinburgh with her husband and three children.

ROBERT MUNSCH

Robert Munsch is an important author who wrote fantasticbooks for children.

He was born on June 11, 1945 in Pittsburgh, Pennsilvania. He grew up in a family of nine kids. He studied ats in

Fordham University and in Boston university.

He married Anne Beeler in 1971 and moved to Canada. He worked in a nursery school with his wife, but then changed

to write books for children.

He wrote many books, like

ROALD DAHL

Roald Dahl is important because he wrote a lot of interesting books for children.

He was born in 1916 in Llandaff, Whales. His parents camefrom Norway. His dad died when he was 3 years old and he

never liked school very much.

Roald studied in Cambridge University and married Patricia Neil.

When he was an adult, he lived and worked in the UnitedStates and in Africa. Later, he worked for the Royal Air

Force in England.

He wrote very important books like

Dr. Seuss

Dr. Seuss was born in 1904 in Springfield,Massachusetts in the USA. He wrote 44children’s books like The Cat in the Hat,Green Eggs and Ham, and How the Grinch StoleChristmas.

His mother was his biggest inspiration asshe used to put him to sleep by making uprhymes. He went to Oxford University inEngland where he met and married hisclassmate, Helen Palmer.

Throughout his life, Dr. Seuss won 6 awardsincluding two Academy Awards and two Emmywards. Unfortunately, he died on September24, 1991.Now, Read Across America is a project inthe USA to celebrate reading every year onMarch 2, Dr. Seuss’ birthday, in memoryof this great writer.

WILLIAMSHAKESPEARE

William Shakespeare was born inStratford-upon-Avon, England onApril 23, 1564. He married AnneHathaway in 1582 and had threechildren. William Shakespearestudied at the Grammar School inStratford and became a famouswriter. He wrote several plays likeThe Taming of the Shrew, Hamlet,Macbeth, and Romeo and Juliet.

William Shakespeare was not only asuccessful playwright, but he wasalso an actor in his very owntheatre – The Globe Theatre. He diedin 1616 at the age of 52.Shakespeare’s words have endured formore than 400 years and his theatrecan still be seen today in London.
