A partir de un encargo con unas premisas muy claras que consistían en un presupuesto muy ajustado, unos plazos de ejecución muy reducidos y una construcción energéticamente eficiente, Alventosa Morell Arquitectes ha diseñado una casa modular de madera totalmente prefabricada y flexible situada en Santa Maria de Palautordera, en la provincia de Barcelona.

La vivienda, totalmente personalizada y adaptada a su entorno natural, está compuesta por seis módulos obtenidos a partir de un estudio bioclimático para mejorar el confort y cumplir requisitos de demanda energética (establecidos por la Plataforma de Edificación Passivhaus).

Cada módulo se adapta autónomamente al solar y enmarca los árboles pertenecientes a la finca, y los espacios intersticiales que los unen se adaptan en función del uso de sus habitantes: un captador solar durante el invierno, efecto invernadero, que se transforma en una terraza exterior cubierta vinculada al jardín durante las épocas atemperadas.

A partir d’un encàrrec amb unes premisses molt clares que consistien en un pressupost molt ajustat, uns terminis d’execució molt reduïts i una construcció energèticament eficient, Alventosa Morell Arquitectes ha dissenyat una casa modular de fusta totalment prefabricada i flexible situada a Santa Maria de Palautordera, a la província de Barcelona.

L’habitatge, totalment personalitzat i adaptat al seu entorn natural, està format per sis mòduls obtinguts a partir d’un estudi bioclimàtic per a millorar el confort i complir requisits de demanda energètica (establerts per la Plataforma d’Edificació Passivhaus).

Cada mòdul s’adapta de manera autònoma al solar i emmarca els arbres de la finca, i els espais intersticials que els uneixen s’adapten en funció de l’ús dels habitants: un captador solar durant l’hivern, efecte hivernacle, que es transforma en una terrassa exterior coberta vinculada al jardí durant les èpoques temperades.

Based on a commission with very clear ideas, which consisted of a very tight budget, reduced deadlines and energy-efficient construction, Alventosa Morell Arquitectes designed a completely prefabricated and flexible timber house located in Santa María de Palautordera, in the province of Barcelona.

The dwelling, fully personalised and adapted to its natural surroundings, is made up of six modules obtained from a bioclimatic study aimed at improving comfort and meeting the requirements of energy demand (established by the Building Platform Passivhaus).

Each module adapts independently to the site and frames the trees belonging to the property, adapting the areas between them depending on the use required by its inhabitants: catching the sun during the winter, with a greenhouse effect, and transforming into a covered outside terrace linked to the garden during the more temperate months.

L’ús de la fusta com a material predominant, per a acabats i estructura, ha permès optimitzar els detalls constructius i el seu cost i, alhora, s’ha aconseguit que la nova construcció s’integri i es fusioni en l’entorn natural del Montseny, caracteritzat per la seva rica vegetació.

Els interiors, també de fusta, aporten un aire de calidesa i proximitat als espais. Els grans finestrals deixen passar la llum i permeten gaudir dels envejables paisatges naturals que envolten l’habitatge, amb el que s’aconsegueix respecte i una relació rica amb l’entorn, quelcom fonamental en l’encàrrec inicial.

El uso de la madera como material predominante, para acabados y estructura, ha permitido optimizar los detalles constructivos y sus costes. Al mismo tiempo, se ha conseguido que la nueva construcción se integre y se fusione con el entorno natural del Montseny, caracterizado por su rica vegetación.

Los interiores, también en madera, dan un aire de calidez y cercanía a los espacios. Los grandes ventanales dejan pasar la luz y disfrutar de los envidiables paisajes naturales que rodean la vivienda, con lo que se consigue respeto y una rica relación con el entorno, fundamental en el encargo inicial.

The use of timber as the principal material, for the structure and finishes, has made it possible to optimise the details of the construction and its costs. At the same time, the new construction has succeeded in becoming integrated and merging in with the natural setting of the Montseny, characterised by its rich vegetation.

The interiors, also in timber, contribute an air of warmth and cosiness to the areas. The large windows let in light and views of the enviable natural landscapes that surround the house, achieving a sense of respect and a rich relationship with the surroundings - an essential requirement of the initial commission.
