Vivimos en un mundo masculinizado, donde la ciencia está bajo

patrones masculinos, debido a lo que social e históricamente se ha

construido por la sociedad; donde se le ha atribuido a los varones

aquellas características relacionadas con la virilidad, racionalidad,

dominación, inteligencia, frialdad y objetividad, incluso llegándose a

considerar que tienen más habilidades para las ciencias duras,

mientras que a las mujeres se les considera como irracionales,

pasivas, dependientes, tiernas, con emotividad y subjetividad, con

más habilidades para las ciencias blandas.

Convocar a más mujeres para que participen y se

involucren.

Aumentar la visibilidad de las mujeres que colaboran.

Que haya diversidad de pensamientos.

Apuntar a diferentes tipos de profesiones.

Evitar la discriminación y la sensibilización entorno al

tema.

would like to launch?

We have more struggle job

opportunities and balance life

other than normal women

career. In my IT environment,

there is not much more female

geek! So, we need more women

in open source and more women

in geek projects”.

What would you want WoMoz to

do in order to improve your life

and experience in Mozilla?

I have always admired women who

have a successful carreer in IT. It is

sometimes hard as a woman to

make a breakthrough it this domain.

As a woman, I hope the

extraordinary WoMoz will help me

grow stronger and will encourage

me to give more of myself, and to

involve more Tunisian women in this
