Trescientosesentaº is the fourth solo exhibition of the artist in the city of Lima, she also has

participated in various group exhibitions in Peru, Brazil, United States and Venezuela. It is

a project that use the figure of the circle to begin a reflection on the passage of time, its

continuity and its cycles. Orejuela decides to synthesize and simplify forms, regardless of the

narrative that characterized his previous production.

The sculptures in the exhibition are based on a quest to transform the rigid material into ductile

forms. A result which is reached after a thorough and lengthy process of assembly, carved and

polished woods such as mahogany, cedar and “palo de sangre”. Ana Orejuela has a degree in Fine Arts

with a major in Sculpture at the Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru.
