Quin fue Albert Einstein? Qu hizo? (resumen)
y mudarse a Estados Unidos (1932).
sionistas.
Who was Albert Einstein? What did? (summary)
1. ABSTRACT
Albert Einstein was a German Jewish physicist and nineteenth and twentieth century (born March 14, 1879 and d ied on
April 18, 1955) known for developing the theory of relativity (special and general) and the theoretical explanation
Brownian motion and the photoelectric effect.
Born in the German city of Ulm, but a year of life his family moved to Munich, where he lived until age 15. At 17 he
entered the Federal Polytechnic School in Zurich to estudiarmatemticas and physics. Five years later, I graduated, got a
Swiss citizen and in 1902 began working at the Federal Office for Intellectual Property Swiss employment until age 30 he
combined with his scientific research.
1905 was his most fruitful year, a result of the publication of four scientific papers on the photoelectric effect, Brownian
motion, the special theory of relativity and mass-energy equivalence (E = mc ). The first earned him the Nobel Prize in
Physics for the year 1921, the second doctor's degree and the last two will consecrate, over time, as the greatest scientist
of the twentieth century.
In 1908 he began to work as a professor of physics at the University of Bern, a position he would continue years later in
Prague and finally in Berlin, a city where he lived until the rise of the Nazi regime made him leave Germany and move to
the United States (1932 ). There teaching imparted at the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton, became a U.S. citizen
(dual citizenship obtaining Swiss-American) and spent the rest of his life trying to integrate physical laws of gravitation
and electromagnetism and disseminating values pacifists, socialists and Zionists.

ayudndolo a perfeccionarla.
James Watt
, January 19, 1736 - Handsworth, August 25, 1819) was a Scottish engineer. The improvements made in
the Newcomen engine led to the so-called steam, which would be essential in the development of the
Industrial Revolution in both the UK and the rest of the world.
His accomplishments as an engineer [edit editing code]
Watt invented parallel movement for converting the circular movement into an almost rectilinear, whichwas very proud, and pressure gauge for measuring steam pressure in the cylinder throughout the whole
work cycle of the machine, showing their efficiency and helping to improve it.
Watt greatly helped the development of the steam engine and converted it from a technology project to a
viable and economical energy. Watt found that the Newcomen engine was spending almost three

quarters of the power of steam to heat the piston and cylinder. Watt developed a separate condensation
chamber significantly increased efficiency. So far, this was one of the best developments of history.
Watt opposed the use of high pressure steam, and some people accused of having slowed the
development of the steam engine by other engineers, until his patents expired in 1800. With his partnerMatthew Boulton, battled rival engineers comoJonathan Hornblower, who tried to develop machines that
do not fall within the scope, extremely general, of laspatentes Watt.
He created a unit called horsepower to compare the output of different steam engines. Still used,
particularly in vehicles.

Thomas Alva Edison (Milan , Ohio, February 11, 1847 - West Orange , New Jersey, October 18,
1931 ) was an entrepreneur and a prolific American inventor who patented over a thousand
inventions (during her adult life to an invention every fifteen days ) and helped to give both the U.S.and Europe , the technology profiles of the contemporary world : the electrical, telephone system
feasible, the phonograph , movies ,
The Wizard of Menlo Park [edit editing code ]
In 1869 , in New York , got a job very favorable terms after repair a serious malfunction indicator
pointing telegraph gold prices in the stock market.
He worked in the Western Union telegraph company , although shortly after en1877 becomes
independent and performs one of his most important inventions , the phonograph .
Although credited with the invention of the incandescent lamp was only actually perfected by him,
who , after many attempts got a filament incandescence reached without melting. This filament wasnot metal but carbonated bamboo . Thus, the October 21, 1879 , got his first light bulb shone for 48
hours straight.
In 1880 he associated with J. P. Morgan found that after the Edison Electric JP Morgan would take
their actions to create General Electric.
In the scientific field , discovered the Edison effect , patented in 1883 , which consisted of the
passage of electricity from a filament to a metal plate inside a globe of incandescent lamp. Although
neither he nor the scientists of his day gave importance , laid the foundations of valve radio and
electronics ( the so-called Edison effect ) .
Edison 's contributions to world cinema were also very important . In 1889comercializa celluloid film
in 35mm format , although he could not patent because George Eastman awhile before he had
done , although he patented lateral drilling of this type of film.
Edison

Inventions of Thomas
His first invention when he was 21, was a machine to vote in elections that did not interestanyone. Two years later invented automatic unindicador dimensions of the stock market. He soldpor40.000 dollars, and made the decision to work in our own laboratory, in a suburb of NewYork.
