When will you understand? Reading tends to be easiest for

many! Level 1: main ideas, titles,

captions, menus, short passages

What can you say and write? Level 1? Beginning Language: You can use basic phrases,

greetings, vocabulary, and questions.

You can describe yourself, ask simple questions, make lists, fill out forms, and write notes!

What can you understand when you listen?

It may be very difficult to understand spoken Spanish.

At first you may only be able to understand single words or small phrases.

You might have to hear things more than once to understand.

You will be assessed in this class based on 60% participation, 20% projects, and 20% assessments. See syllabus for more details!

and you will set goals for yourself! You are in charge of your

education, I am just the facilitator!
