PRESENTACIÓN STB-050Se encarga de decodificar el tráfico de red del sistema IPTV a una señal audio/video, mostrando el con-tenido al usuario en la televisión.

INSTALACIÓNInstalación mediante HDMIConecte el STB-050 a la televisión mediante el cable HDMI tal y como se muestra en la figura. A su vez, conecte el equipo a la red LAN mediante el puerto RJ-45 disponible.

Alimentación del equipoConecte el equipo a la red eléctrica mediante el adaptador AC/DC suministrado.

Instalación STBEn caso de que la instalación del equipo se realice en un lugar oculto, no sería necesario el uso de ningún IR dongle, ya que el propio STB puede recibir las señales del mando sin necesidad de complemento al-guno, siempre y cuando el éste se encuentre correctamente orientado.

PROGRAMACIÓN DEL EQUIPO STB-050Una vez montado el receptor de IPTV, se procederá a realizar su configuración.

Por defecto los STB-050 salen de fábrica con una configuración de red por DHCP y en modo Interactivo (preparado para interactuar con el servidor de ALCAD IPTV Solution). Dependiendo del tipo de insta-lación, el STB-050 se configurará en modo interactivo o no interactivo (Interactive/Non-Interactive).

Programación para instalaciones en modo Interactivo:Con el servidor de IPTV previamente conectado, configurado y encendido en la red de IPTV:

• Conectar el STB-050 a un switch en la red IPTV mediante un cable de Ethernet.• Conectar el STB-050 a la TV mediante un cable HDMI.• Encender la TV.• Encender STB-050.• Seguir pasos en la pantalla para registrar el STB-050 en el sistema de ALCAD IPTV Solution con el mando

de distancia. Alternativamente, se puede registrar los STB-050 usando el Manager de ALCAD IPTV Solution.

Una vez registrado el STB-050, se puede averiguar la IP del STB en cuestión en el IPTV Manager. Referir a siguiente sección para ver las opciones disponibles para ajustes adicionales.

Programación para instalaciones en modo No Interactivo:Como los STBs salen de fábrica en modo DHCP e interactivo, inicialmente, hay que realizar la configu-ración in que tenga acceso a los canales. Para ello es importante tener el FW de ALCAD dentro de un USB; FW que debe encontrarse dentro la carpeta MAG324. Dicho FW debe llamare imageupdate. Con eso preparado:

• Conectar el STB-050 a la TV por cable HDMI.Encender la TV.• Encender la STB-050.

• Con el Mando de distancia, mantener pulsado el botón de Menú

• En la pantalla de la TV, aparecerá la system recovery utility; dentro del menú, escogemos Upgrade Tools.

• Seleccionamos el método de actualización de software: Using USB; es importante que el USB con el FW cargado, esté conectado al STB.

• Esperamos a que actualice y a que reinicie hasta que muestre la pantalla de televisión; pantalla que carecerá de canales:

Antes de nada, lo primero que haremos será establecerle una IP estática al STB, pues en caso contrario no podrá funcionar de forma autónoma y no podrá comunicarse con el resto de equipos.

• Acceder al menú del STB050 mediante la cominación de teclas

• Dentro de dicho menú acceder a Network:

• Dentro de dicho menú tendremos la opción de escoger la configuración IP; que puede ser o bien DHCP o bien estática (manual):

obligatorios, aunque en caso de ser posible, lo ideal sería rellenarlo también.

• Una vez realizados los cambios, volvemos al menú principal de nuevo pulsando el botón:

Ahora que tenemos la IP estática establecida, faltaría añadir los canales. Dichos canales se pueden añadir vía USB; solamente tienen que estar dentro de un fichero; fichero que tiene que tener extensión .m3u y que tiene que tener una estructura como la siguiente:

La parte en negrita sería la parte que se personalizaría para cada canal, donde en la primera línea se especifi-caría el nombre del canal y en la segunda su dirección multicast.

Suponiendo que tenemos un fichero llamado channels.m3u dentro de nuestro USB con dicho contenido, lo co-nectaríamos al STB y navegaríamos a ‘Home Media‘, dentro del cual escogeríamos el USB que hemos conectado ‘Generic Flash Disk’:

Allí escogemos el fichero que hemos prepaado y pulsamos OK, tras lo que veremos una ventana como la de a continuación:

Veremos que dependiendo del color del botón del mando que pulsemos, realizaremos diferentes acciones. Los más importantes serían F3 y F4.

• F3: Añadir los canales de fichero al STB. El orden de los canales determinará en qué orden se muestra en el STB.

• F4: Eliminar todos los canales del STB; esta acción es importante a la hora de editar canales existentes. Si queremos modificar los canales del STB, lo ideal es vaciar los canales primero para despues añadir el con-tenido de nuevo.

Con los canales agregados, nos dirigimos a IPTV channels, el cual se encuentra en el menú principal. Esto se consigue pulsando el botón home repetidas veces, hasta llegar a dicho menú y seleccionanado la opción IPTV Channels, el cual mostraría el listado actual de canales.

Supongamos que tenemos un STB configurado con los canales, y que queremos configurar otro con los mismos, pero hemos perdido el fichero .m3u... Tenemos dos opciones, o bien configurar otro fichero a mano... O bien coger el listado de canales del STB que ya tenemos operativo. Para ello conectamos un USB al STB y desde la sección IPTV channels realizaríamos la secuencia de botones:

Esto mostraría un pequeño menú en la parte derecha; menú llamado Operaciones con multiples opciones entra las cuales se encontraría la opción ‘Export Channels’

Tras selecionar la opción veremos que nos da la opción de almacenar los canales en el USB, si bien nos pedirá un nombre:

La introducción del nombre lo haremos pulsando el botón el cual mostrará este teclado:

El nombre a introducir no requiere de la extensión m3u, ya que el STB lo guardaría automaticamente con la su-sodicha.

Por último pulsaríamos el botón OK y con ello ya tendríamos el listado guardado en el USB listo para ser utiliza-do para cualquier otro.

PROGRAMACIÓN DEL REM-255

El mando a distancia puede configurar los botones coloreados en azul para adaptarlos a la televisión que quera-mos. Esos botones serían los siguientes:• Encendido/apagado TV (azul)• A/V (azul)• Silencio (azul)• Volumen +/- (azul)

Esos botones pueden almacenar la frecuencia de los botones de otros mandos. Para ello realizaríamos el siguiente procedimiento:

1. Con el REM-255, presionamos los botones rojo y azul al mismo tiempo hasta que el botón de TV se torne verde y el botón de encendido/apagado del STB se torne rojo. 2. Ponemos el REM-255 y el otro mando a distancia uno frente a otro.3. Con el REM-255, presionamos el botón que queremos configurar una vez.4. Con el otro mando, presionamos el botón que queremos copier en el REM-255 una vez. Esto provocaría que el LED del botón de TV del REM-255 parpadease dos veces.5. Presionamos el botón OK REM-255. 6. Repetimos el procedimiento para cada botón que queramos configurar.

PRESENTATION OF THE STB-050It is responsible for decoding the IPTV network traffic signal system to an audio / video content in order to visualize on the TV.

INSTALLATIONInstallation via HDMIConnect the STB-050 to the TV using the HDMI cable as shown in Fig 2. In turn, connect the computer to the LAN via the RJ-45 port available.

Installation via RCAConnect the STB-050 to the television using the RCA cable as shown in figure 3. At the same time, con-nect the equipment to the IP data network using the RJ-45 port.

Powering the equipmentConnect the equipment to the electrical outlet using the AC / DC adapter supplied.

Installing the STBIf you have installed the unit in a hidden location (behind the TV), you do not need to use an IR dongle, as the decoder can receive signals behind the TV, as long as the box is oriented correctly.

PROGRAMMING THE STB-050Once the IPTV receiver is installed, we can proceed with its configuration.

By default the STB-050 is shipped with a network configuration of DHCP and in interactive mode (ready to interact with the ALCAD IPTV Solution server). Depending on the type of installation, the STB-050 will be configured in interactive or non-interactive mode

Programming for Interactive mode installations:With the IPTV server previously configured, turned on, and connected to the IPTV network:

• Connect the STB-050 to a switch in the IPTV network using an Ethernet cable.• Connect the STB-050 to your TV via an HDMI cable.• Turn on the TV.• Turn on STB-050.• Follow steps on screen to register the STB-050 in ALCAD IPTV Solution system with the remote control. • Alternatively, you can register the STB-050 directing in the web interface of ALCAD IPTV Solution Manager.

After registering the STB-050, you can find out the IP of the STB-050 in the IPTV Manager. Refer to next section for options available for additional settings.

Programming Noninteractive mode installationsAs the STBs are configured by default in interactive mode, they have to be configured for waching chan-nels. For that is important to have the ALCAD FW in a USB; FW that must be inside a folder with the name: MAG324. Moreover, the FW must have the name: imageupdate. With that prepared:

• Connect the STB-050 to the TV by HDMI cable.• Turn on the STB-050.• With the remote control, press the menu button .

• The system recovery utility will appear on the screen, utility where we will choose ‘Upgrade Tools’.

• We choose how we want upgrade the STB: Using USB. Is important to have the USB, with the FW, con-nected.

• We wait until it finish the upgrading and until the STB restarts. It will show an the TV channels screen.

First of all, we will set a static IP to the STB, because otherwise it will not have a standalone functioning and will not be able to communicate with other devices.

• Access to the menu pressing te key combination:

• Enter into the settings option and then access to ‘system settings’:

• Now it would be necessary to introduce teh IP and the netmask. The gateway and DNS would be optional, but in case of being possible, the best would be to fill them.

Once we have established the IP, it would remain the channel ddition. The channels can be added using USB; USB with a file with m3u extension . That file would need to have a structure like this:

The part in bold would be the customizable part, where the first line would be the channel name and the second one the multicast ddress.

Supposing that we have a file with called channels.m3u in our USB, we would connect it to the STB, navigate to the option ‘Home Media’ of the STB,were we would choose the connected USB ‘Generic Flash Disk’ :

There we would choose the file that we have previously prepared and we would press OK.

We will see that depending on the color of the button that we press, the action will be different. The most impor-tant buttons would be F3 and F4.

• F3: Add the channels of the file to the STB. The order of the channels of the file will determine the channel order.

• F4: Remove all the channels of the STB. This action is important when you want to edit a existing channel. For modifying them, the best would be to remove all of them and add the channels again.

After adding the channels, we would go back to the IPTV channel section, which is in the main menu. This is achieved pressing the button repeatedly until reaching that menu and choosing the menu entry IPTV chan-nels, which would show the current channel list.

Let’s suppose that we have a STB with the channels configured but that we have lost the ,m3u file... We would have two options, or configure a new file or to take the channel list from the configured STB. For that we would connect the USB to the STB and from the IPTV channels section we would the key sequence:

That would show a small windows in the rigth side called Operations; that window would have multiple choices and one of them would be ‘Export Channels’:

After choosing the option we would see a screen allowing us the option of saving the channels in a USB, but it would request us a filename.

In order to write the name, we would press the key which would show the following keyboard:

The filename would not require to have a .m3u extension, as it would automatically save it in that format.

For finally saving the file, we would press OK and we would have the USB ready for configure the channels in the oth-ers.

PROGRAMMING THE REM-255

The remote control can configure its blue buttons to adapt them to each TV. Those buttons are shown below:• TV Power (blue)• A/V (blue)• Mute (blue)• Volume +/- (blue)

Those buttons can store the configuration of other remote-control buttons. For that the procedure would be the following:

1. With the REM-255, press the red and blue button at the same time until the TV button LED turns green and the power button turns red. 2. We put the REM-255 and the other remote in front of each other.3. With the REM-255, we press the button that we want to configure once.4. With the other remote, we press the button that we want to copy of the other remote once. That would cause to blink the TV button of the REM-255 twice.5. Press the OK button of the REM-255. 6. Repeat the procedure for each button.

PRÉSENTATION STB-050Il est chargé de décoder le système de signaux de trafic du réseau IPTV en un contenu audio / vidéo afin de le visualiser sur le téléviseur.

INSTALLATIONInstallation par HDMIConnectez le STB-050 au téléviseur à l’aide du câble HDMI comme indiqué sur la figure 2. À son tour, connectez l’ordinateur au LAN via le port RJ-45 disponible.

Alimentation de l´équipmenConnect the equipment to the electrical outlet using the AC / DC adapter supplied.

Installation de STBSi vous avez installé l’appareil dans un endroit caché (derrière le téléviseur), vous n’avez pas besoin d’utiliser un dongle IR, car le décodeur peut recevoir des signaux derrière le téléviseur, tant que le boîtier est correctement orienté.

PROGRAMMATION DE L´ÉQUIPEMENT STB-050Après avoir installé le récepteur IPTV, nous pouvons procéder à sa configuration.

Par défaut, le STB-050 est livré avec une configuration réseau DHCP et en mode interactif (prêt à intera-gir avec le serveur de la solution ALCAD IPTV). Selon le type d’installation, le STB-050 sera configuré en mode interactif ou non interactif

Programmation pour les installations en mode interactif:Avec le serveur IPTV précédemment configuré, allumé et connecté au réseau IPTV:Connect the STB-050 to a switch in the IPTV network using an Ethernet cable.• Connectez le STB-050 à votre téléviseur via un câble HDMI.• Allumez le téléviseur.• Allumez STB-050.• Suivez les étapes à l’écran pour enregistrer le STB-050 dans le système ALCAD IPTV Solution avec la télé-

commande.• Vous pouvez également enregistrer la direction STB-050 dans l’interface Web d’ALCAD IPTV Solution Man-

ager.

Après avoir enregistré le STB-050, vous pouvez trouver l’IP du STB-050 dans IPTV Manager. Reportez-vous à la section suivante pour les options disponibles pour les paramètres supplémentaires.

Programmation des installations en mode non interactifComme les décodeurs sont configurés par défaut en mode interactif, ils doivent être configurés pour les canaux de waching. Pour cela, il est important d’avoir l’ALCAD FW dans une clé USB; FW qui doit se trouver dans un dossier avec le nom: MAG324. De plus, le FW doit avoir le nom: imageupdate. Avec cela préparé:Connectez le STB-050 au téléviseur via un câble HDMI.• Allumez le STB-050.• Avec la télécommande, appuyez sur le bouton menu .

• L’utilitaire de récupération du système apparaîtra à l’écran, utilitaire où nous choisirons «Outils de mise à niveau».

• Dans les outils de mise à niveau, nous choisissons «mise à niveau du logiciel»

• Nous choisissons la façon dont nous voulons mettre à niveau le décodeur: en utilisant l’USB. Il est important d’avoir l’USB, avec le FW, connecté.

• Nous attendons la fin de la mise à niveau et le redémarrage du STB. Il affichera un écran des chaînes de télévision.

Tout d’abord, nous allons définir une adresse IP statique sur le décodeur, car sinon il n’aura pas de fonctionnement autonome et ne pourra pas communiquer avec d’autres appareils.

• Accès au menu en appuyant sur la combinaison de touches:

Entrez dans l’option des ‘settings’, puis accédez aux ‘system settings’

• Il faudrait maintenant introduire l’IP et le masque de réseau. La passerelle et le DNS seraient optionnels, mais en cas de possible, le mieux serait de les remplir.

Après avoir établi l’IP, il restera l’ajout de canal. Les canaux peuvent être ajoutés via USB; USB avec un fichier avec extension m3u. Ce fichier devrait avoir une structure comme celle-ci:

La partie en gras serait la partie personnalisable, où la première ligne serait le canal et la seconde celle, l’adresse de multidiffusion

En supposant que nous ayons un fichier avec les canaux.m3u appelé dans notre USB, nous le connecterions au STB, naviguerions vers l’option «Home Media» du STB, si nous choisissions l’USB «Generic Flash Disk» connecté:

Après avoir ajouté les chaînes, nous reviendrions à la section des chaînes IPTV, qui se trouve dans le menu princi-pal. Ceci est réalisé à plusieurs reprises sur le bouton jusqu’à atteindre ce menu et choisir l’entrée de menu Chaînes IPTV, qui afficherait la liste des chaînes actuelle.

Supposons que nous avons un STB avec les canaux configurés mais que nous avons perdu le fichier m3u ... Nous aurions deux options, ou configurer un nouveau fichier ou prendre la liste des canaux du STB configuré. Pour cela, nous connecterions l’USB au STB et à partir de la section des canaux IPTV, nous ferions la séquence de touches:

Cela montrerait une petite fenêtre dans le côté droit appelée Opérations; cette fenêtre aurait plusieurs choix et l’un d’eux serait ‘Export Channels’:

Après avoir choisi l’option, nous verrions un écran nous permettant de sauvegarder les chaînes sur une clé USB, mais il nous demanderait un nom de fichier.

Pour écrire le nom, nous appuierions sur la touche qui afficherait le clavier suivant:

Le nom de fichier n’aurait pas besoin d’avoir une extension .m3u, car il l’enregistrerait automatiquement dans ce format.

Pour sauvegarder le fichier, nous appuierions sur OK et nous aurions l’USB prêt pour configurer les canaux dans les autres.

PROGRAMMATION DE LE REM-255

La télécommande peut configurer ses boutons bleus pour les adapter à chaque téléviseur. Ces boutons sont il-lustrés ci-dessous:• Alimentation TV (bleu)• A / V (bleu)• Muet (bleu)• Volume +/- (bleu)

Ces boutons peuvent stocker la configuration des autres boutons de la télécommande. Pour cela, la procédure serait la suivante:

1. Avec le REM-255, appuyez simultanément sur les boutons rouge et bleu jusqu’à ce que le voyant du bouton TV devienne vert et que le bouton d’alimentation devienne rouge.2. Nous plaçons le REM-255 et l’autre télécommande l’un devant l’autre.3. Avec le REM-255, nous appuyons une fois sur le bouton que nous voulons configurer.4. Avec l’autre télécommande, nous appuyons une fois sur le bouton que nous voulons copier de l’autre télécom-mande. Cela ferait clignoter deux fois le bouton TV du REM-255.5. Appuyez sur le bouton OK du REM-255.6. Répétez la procédure pour chaque bouton.
