The Beginning………. In 2004, a consortium of nine renowned surgeons from different medical backgrounds came together to form the International Federation of Healthcare Professionals (IFHP UK). IFHP was the brainchild of bariatric surgeon Dr Piyush Goel, a dentist, health educator and now, entrepreneur. His vision was to bring together experts across the industry to increase global interest amongst health professionals in competencies, standards, and governance in professional practice.

Vision……..“IFHP’s panoramic vision is bringing experts together to discuss healthcare issues,” CEO . “Our focus has been on problems such as the escalating numbers of patients, reducing the cost of treatments and formulating methods of information sharing amongst service providers. We have designed a clinical development programme that takes best practice from the UK offshore. The benefits are then passed on to patients, so they end up with the best medical care possible at a reduced cost.”
