“Declive. Resistencia. Vistos como simples objetos…los fenómenos de ‘declive’ y ‘muerte’ de objetos naturales, incluyendo los humanos. Parecen crueles, pero considerando su verdadero significado, creo que son preciosos: Fruta podrida, piel envejecida, edificios cayéndose a pedazos… Son fenómenos esenciales para que la Tierra siga hacia adelante. Así como el sol se pone y sale de nuevo, las próximas generaciones se crean aceptando estos fenómenos. Este trabajo expresa la mayor contradicción de la humanidad, que está entre el deseo de eternidad en los corazones humanos, y la realidad de los materiales que no perduran, creados por humanos y que nos traen la muerte.”
“Decline. Resistance. Seen as mere objects…the phenomena of ‘decay’ and ‘death’ of natural objects, including humans. They may seem cruel, but considering their real meaning, I feel they are beautiful: Rotten fruit, aged skin, crumbling buildings…They are essential phenomena to keep Earth going. Just as the sun sets and rises again, the next generations are created by accepting them. This work expresses mankind’s greatest contradiction between the desire for eternity in human hearts, and the reality that impermanent materials created by humans bring death to ourselves.” Pieza Ganadora del Premio MASDANZA-EU 2013 en el Festival Yokohama Dance Collection EX, Yokohama, Japón. “…El viaje de búsqueda de dos seres humanos que, enlazados y guiados por una fuerte sensación de carencia, escogen abandonar la certeza por la incertidumbre, con la voluntad de descubrir y de descubrirse. El primer paso, inestable e inseguro, adquiere coraje, crece y se transforma. La fragilidad del cuerpo se vuelve acción que grita, el silencio una pregunta…Una vez superada la oscuridad de los ojos de quien todavía no conoce, cuando las cosas empiezan a aparecernos bajo otra luz, llegamos a la reflexión de que algunas veces es necesario perderse para poder encontrarse.”
“…The journey of two human beings who, linked and led by an overwhelming sense of loss, choose to abandon certainty for uncertainty with the will to discover and be discovered. The first step, unstable and unsure, gains courage, grows and is transformed. The fragility of the body becomes action that howls, silence becomes a question…Once we have gone beyond the darkness in the eyes of the unknowing, when we begin to see things in a different light, we arrive to the the conclusion that maybe sometimes it is necessary to get lost in order to find oneself . “
