St Lucy’s is forming multiple new Young Adult Ministries. Andrew Brown will be acting as the new Pastoral Associate for Young Adults & Adult Formation & Evangelization. We are looking for teams and coordinators for each of these ministries. We are look-ing for individuals and couples who would like guidance to be on the Coordinating Teams for these new ministries. Please contact Andrew for details.
Children’s Liturgy of the Word on Summer Break, but wait! We invite children, specifically at the 9am and the 11am Masses to find COLORING SHEETS & CRAYONS available for use dur-ing Mass in the Vestibule. The Coloring sheets correlate to the Sunday’s Gospel reading. We encourage parents of young children to utilize this time to focus on Jesus and his teachings, love, and lessons. Please return the crayons to their container after Mass. We are so glad that you invite your children into sacred time. Thank you!

The programming found on the station features wholesome family entertain-ment, lively discussion about culture and Catholic Teachings, Music Stations and more! This Radio Station will increase your Catholic Identity and support your own evan-gelization efforts in giving the reason for your hope- Jesus!

From the bottom of my heart I want to thank you for your overwhelming signs of support and affection last Sun-day. The hundreds of parishioners who attended the farewell receptions and who sent cards and gifts touched my heart deeply. As I transition from six wonderful years as pastor of St. Lucy to becoming chaplain of Presentation Retreat Center in Los Gatos, I take with me inspiring and warm memories that will stay with me the rest of my life.
Under the leadership of your new pastor, Fr. Mark Arnzen, and the extraordinary Parish Staff and Pastoral Council, I know that St. Lucy Parish will continue to attract more and more people to the Lord and to his Church. May God bless you all abundantly.

SVdP Outreach Corner
The St. Vincent de Paul Society @ St. Lucy contin-ues our annual Back to School Backpack Program for the needy children of the families we serve in our SVDP Outreach. We invite the parish to help with this program by donating needed backpacks and school supplies. Basic school supplies and backpacks (no Blue or Red) will be collected at all Masses through the end of July.
All donations and supplies must be deposited at the church by July 27. Please see list of needed items in fliers. Drop off back-packs and supplies to containers near Church entrances or the Outreach office during business hours. If making a monetary do-nation, please make out to St. Vincent de Paul @St. Lucy.
Those interested in receiving a backpack must register at the SVdP outreach office by July 24th. This includes our current cli-ents and any new clients. If you are a family in need of backpacks and school supplies for your children, please call the outreach office @ 408 378-8086 for more information. La Oficina de Servicios Sociales de Santa Lucia conti-núa nuestro Programa Anual de Mochilas Escolares para los niños de las familias a las que servimos. Invi-tamos a la parroquia para que nos ayuden con este programa con donaciones de mochilas y útiles escola-res. Los útiles escolares y mochilas (no podemos aceptar mochi-las azules o rojas) serán recogidos en todas las misas hasta fines de julio.
