modelo turístico cultural en ciudades

medias. Potencialidades y retos para su

internacionalización: Bética interior, proyecto de investigación nacional del mismo nombre, !nanciado por el Ministerio de Economía y Competitividad.Hablar de ciudades medias en Europa es pensar en patrimonio urbano-territorial, en paisajes históricos que continúan conformando amplios territorios. En Andalucía (87600 Km2) donde los efectos de la metropolización (3,72% sobre 778 municipios) son aún puntuales, el patrimonio constituye su herencia genética. Su relevancia histórica internacional y nacional (en Civitates Orbis Terrarum 26 de 34 ciudades eran andaluzas) es un hecho. Actualmente, el reconocimiento patrimonial de sus ciudades en los ámbitos nacional (las dos primeras ciudades declaradas, 1929, son andaluzas) e internacional (Patrimonio Mundial), así
