NIVEL INTERMEDIO (B1)
El nivel intermedio constituye un curso de avance y maduracin de loscontenidos del nivel bsico (A2). La complejidad ser mayor tanto a nivel lxicocomo gramatical y sintctico con el fin de alcanzar un nivel intermedio (B1).
1. OBJETIVOSSer capaz de comprender los puntos principales de textos claros y en
lengua estndar si tratan sobre cuestiones que le son conocidas, ya sea ensituaciones de trabajo, de estudio o de ocio. Saber desenvolverse en la mayorparte de las situaciones que pueden surgir durante un viaje por zonas donde se
utiliza la lengua. Ser capaz de producir textos sencillos y coherentes sobretemas que le son familiares o en los que tiene un inters personal. Poderdescribir de forma oral experiencias, acontecimientos, deseos y aspiraciones, ascomo justificar brevemente sus opiniones o explicar sus planes.
2. CONTENIDOSEste curso de nivel intermedio (B1) constituye una consolidacin y

4. METODOLOGA DE ESTUDIOLa adquisicin del grado de destreza en el uso de la lengua inglesa
acorde con el nivel intermedio, tal como se indica en los apartados Objetivos yContenidos, exige constancia en el estudio y prctica reiterada en los diferentesaspectos de la lengua por parte del alumno. De este modo, se puede conseguirprogresivamente automatizar las propias respuestas a los estmulos lingsticosde diversa ndole que la exposicin a una lengua extranjera y su uso conllevan.
El carcter semipresencial de este curso hace que, para su adecuadoseguimiento y la consecucin de los objetivos marcados, sea convenientecombinar el estudio y la prctica independientes con la asistencia a las sesionespresenciales, en grupo, dirigidos por un(a) profesor(a) tutor(a), responsable dela organizacin de la enseanza directa y del control del progreso de losestudiantes.
El curso dispone de una plataforma virtual donde el estudianteencontrar material complementario. Asimismo, cuenta con un sistema decomunicacin virtual a travs de foros y correo.

EVALUACIN
En el CUID los exmenes tienen lugar en junio, en convocatoria ordinaria, y enseptiembre, en convocatoria extraordinaria. En cada una de esas convocatorias,los alumnos podrn optar a realizar el examen de reserva si le asisten causas defueraza mayor debidamente justificadas. La evaluacin final se basar en losresultados de los dos exmenes siguientes:
- Examen escrito: Esta prueba consta de dos partes. En la primera semedir la comprensin de dos textos as como los conocimientos deaspectos gramaticales y de vocabulario a travs de preguntas deopcin mltiple. La segunda parte ser de expresin escrita y elobjetivo es demostrar la capacidad comunicativa de forma msamplia.
- Examen oral: Abarcar tanto la comprensin como la expresin oral.
Hay que obtener una calificacin de apto en las dos pruebas para aprobar elnivel B1. Si el alumno slo superase una de las dos pruebas (la oral o la escrita),la calificacin de la que haya sido aprobada se guardar para septiembre. Deesta manera, el alumno slo tendr que presentarse a aqulla que hayasuspendido.
El sistema de calificaciones del CUID slo ofrece la calificacin en trminos deAPTO / NO APTO, por lo que no existe posibilidad de obtener calificacinnumrica.
En caso de que un alumno desee obtener la revisin de su examen y optar a unanueva correccin, deber solicitarla en los siete das naturales tras lapublicacin de las notas. No se atendern peticiones fuera de plazo.
